Miss Georgia Scholarship Organization announces the inaugural "Miss Georgia's Collars, Paws, & Crowns" a Pet Pageant featuring our furry friends. This exciting event is in memory of Janice H. Straight, sister of Ann Hankins and Kay Cagle, who was an avid animal lover. You will be able to showcase your pet’s personality, uniqueness, and beauty. At the same time, you will be raising vital funds for the Four Points Scholarship Fund, the arm of the Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition that processes scholarships awarded to recipients across the state of Georgia. The Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition invites pet owners from any state to join in this celebration by participating in various competition categories, including the coveted People’s Choice. 

Competition Categories Include: People's Choice: Every pet will automatically be entered to win the People's Choice category. People's Choice photos and voting will take place at www.missgeorgia.net. Registration for your pet opens July 1, 2024 and closes May 31, 2025. Voting will begin by August and the winners will be announced at the 2025 Miss Georgia Competition.  Each photo category will be scored by a panel of judges and a Top Five will be named in each category, with the winner taking home top honors, a Miss Georgia Silver Plate, and featured in the 2025 Miss Georgia Competition Book. People’s Choice will be selected based on the highest number of public contest votes. Other categories include “Twinning It,” “Holiday Hotties,” and “Rainbow Bridge.”
